Twenty-one years, one building at a time
Nothing here arrived at once. Every block on this list was paid for by the school and built while classes were running.
Vision, mission and the five things we insist on
Every child who leaves this school should be able to think for themselves, and be decent about it.
Messages worth reading before you apply
I taught mathematics for nineteen years before I built this school, and the reason I built it was simple. Children here were bright and had nowhere near enough. We started with a rented hall and a blackboard. What I ask of every teacher who joins is the same thing I asked of myself then: know the child, not just the class.
R. P. SharmaParents usually ask me about results first. I answer with attendance, because the two are the same question. A child who wants to come to school on a cold January morning is a child who is learning. Everything we do here — the clubs, the trips, the labs — is in service of that one thing.
Anjali NegiWho runs the school
Every one of them teaches or takes a period. The office hours below are when you can walk in without an appointment.
Ninety-six people who stay
Average tenure is nine years, which in this valley is unusual. Every teacher does twelve days of training a year, and every new joiner spends a term paired with a senior before taking a class alone.

Everything the board asks us to publish
Under CBSE norms these documents have to be on the website. They are here, dated, and not buried in a PDF folder.
